Man, is it ever going to warm up?  It's 21 deg. here with a high of 25 according to my little weather bug.  We have been having winter storm alerts for days & snow, snow, snow.  My daughter & I drove through a blizzard a few nights ago. Creeping along at 25 to 30 on the highway, unable to see the road & it was so slick, black ice.  It was scary & we were so glad to make it home.

I am so cold.

So tell me about your wonderful weather.  Is it warm?  Are you outside alot?  Are the birds singing?  I just want to know that Spring "is" really coming.  It is usually much warmer here by now, I feel like I live in Alaska instead of Montana.

Hugs to all, Denise

Hi Denise!!!

I always figured that Montana would be pretty cold. You're a good bit farther north of me, here in NE Indiana.

Well, I wish I could say its officially spring here but today isn't the day.  We had a couple of warmer days but they blew outta here last night with a major storm.  There were tornados just about 50 miles south of me last night.

We have some birds coming back but they also went into hiding after that storm.

We have snow in our forecast for tomorrow night.. GRRRR!!  And our warmest day this week is today.. 43 degrees, it goes down hill from here.  shakehead

I guess the best way to look at it is.. it will get warmer SOON. Spring is always iffy around here.  We've had some years where it didn't warm up till the middle of June.  I hope this ISN'T one of those years.  I need some sunshine and warmth, too.  Maybe if we all cross our figers it would help.. Oh No Wait, that's not a good idea, how the heck would we be able to type with our fingers crossed.. LOL!!

Wishing you sunshine!!!

Hugs,

Patti

Hi Denise,

Man that is hard to take after an already long winter. I lived in northern Idaho with my father at times and remember one winter I thought I would die.

I leave for Boston to my sons Thurs and he said today was wet with snow. He said pack your woolies it is still winter. Bet it will shock the socks off my Florida feet.

Stay warm as best you can, Patsie

Wish I could say it was nice a warm here...or  even that the sun is out!  I live in central NY and it is gray, dismal and slushy.  It was 60 degrees for three days in a row and there is so much snow hardly any of it melted.  Our winter is far from over.  Last year the college kids made 'bars' out of packed snow along the streets of Oswego on St. Patricks Day and served drinks.  I did see some ducks in my front yard yesterday, so that's a good sign!

Donna I love that area of Ny. We go Near Alex bay in thousand Islands. If I am not mistaken we went to a walmart in oswega. My aunt has a trailer on the river. We rent a cottage near her. Kids love it there.... They can really boat and fish the lakes get packed around here and the Deleware is not always deep enough for our boat.

LeeAnn...I live a block from the Oswego River and Lake Ontario is 10 miles north of us.  Right in the snow belt.  We go to 1000 Islands and Alex Bay during the summer whenever we can.  It's beautiful there.

Leemadd, I spent my summers in the Alexandria Bay area of the Thousand Islands.  It's gorgeous country.

Yankee Girl, I live in Tampa Bay, also!  Yes, it's beautiful this week.
