My husband and I run a youth group and lastnight my daughter shared that she had a dream that she was having open heart surgery.  Well, of course we just laughed and said isn't it strange how we dream.  Well, I just got a call from the doctors office and they found something wrong with her heart.  They want her to go see the pediatric heart surgeon.  Okay smhair ! Now its been two weeks since we've seen the doctor.  And they just called the day after she had shared this.    My dearest daughter was the one I spoke of needing to go to the doctor because of exhaustion and pain and passing out.  I thought she had fibro and they told me to not put my disease on her.  They diagnosed her with depression and she is seeing a counsler now.  She also joined the chat lines so she could talk.  I just wanted to give an update.  I am sorta in shock. But we don't have a exact diagnosis so I just need to calm myself down and trust in the Lord.  Just one more thing, its snowing again...blah, blah blah.. But hey I don't hurt, just extremely tired...Thanks everyone

Dear Baloo,

You will be in my prayers along with your little girl. There can be so many things that the pediatric specialist may find. Try to stay as peaceful as you can especially for her.

Things that affect our children are just the hardest to bear.

God Bless, Patsie

Baloo, I'm so sorry you are going through this but they can take care of a lot of problems with non-invasive procedures.  Perhaps this is why she was exhausted and passing out.  So, this actually could be a blessing in disguise.  Yes, God is in charge.  You will find the right answers for your daughter.  I'll be praying for you and your family.

Don't you just wish you could do it for her? When we watch our children go through health problems it's like someone is stabbing us! Sending prayers!

I remember your post Baloo cause it reminded me of my middle son when he was a teen and passed out all the time. His turned out to be mitro valve prolapse and he didn't have to have surgery for it. They may be sending you to a surgeon to do a cath on her to look at the inside of her heart. I hope that is all it is and they can control it without surgery. I know it is really scary when your child has a heart problem or any kind of problem. So prayers will be with your family through this.
luv and hugs

Yes, I am very tearful today, I was exhausted and felt like I was in the movie XMen when they fill that girls body with that metal and she sinks to the bottom of the tank. I just could'nt get up. I'm tired and cold and have a wicked headache. My daughter is amazing she was exhausted too this morning and she went into school late. Her dad took her and she said "mom I prayed that you could sleep in today" I know you needed it. Here she is concerned for me. I continually am amazed at her maturity and love and thank God for the wonderful daughter. We both have been through alot of life together, we both came out of domestic violence and she was kidnapped when she was 3. I know we can get thru this together. I just wish I could watch over her when she is not at home. I lost her once and was blessed to get her back, I thankyou all for your prayers.

Hi Baloo,

I am so sorry to hear that you and your daughter are still going through so much.  Please give her a big but gentle hug from me and my son Ryan.  I am not glad that it might be something with the heart but I am relieved that they are not just "blowing it off".  I will say many, many special prayers for your family.  You and your daughter have been heavily on my mind lately, but I don't like to bother people (even virtually blush ).  I tried to figure out if I could contact you more one on one but don't know how.  If you ever need me I'm here along with the rest of your fibro fam.
