I have been reading on this board, and it is just so encouraging to see that the people on here really care, even though we all only really know each other through the net. It is nice to know that people really do care.
Having said that, I could really use prayers from those of you who pray. I just don't feel like I am getting much better, and I have been sick since Friday morning. I know that healing takes time, but I am so frustrated and I feel so helpless. Ever since I caught this bug, I have been begging and praying to the Lord to heal me. I believe in His healing powers. I just feel so helpless and alone. It is times like these when I really miss my mom. She always took such good care of me. And she still does, but it isn't the same. When you grow up, you have your own family to take care of and it makes it hard sometimes. Please, I could just really use all your prayers. I really appreciate it.
Thanks.

Tiki,

Anyone on here has my prayers for them. None of us have it easy and sometimes they have it especially rough.Right now this is one of those rough times for you. I will be thinking about you and yes, you will be included in prayers as I don't like to see any of us have to struggle. I hope you can at least find some comfort while you're recovering.

Include me saying prayers for you. I know how hard it can get at times. I hope you get better soon. Give yourself the ok to rap up in a fuzzy blanket, tea or cocoa and just hide for a bit. Sometimes we all need to hide from all of it.

I Tiki, yes I will pray for you,  I know its hard. Sometimes I get too exhausted to pray but the wonderful thing about that is he knows our hearts , sighs and growns.  That even when we don't have the strength to lift our head, he is there.  I know that one, i've been so dizzy and weak everymorning I've been sliding down the cupboard doors when I go to get coffee.  I just sit on the floor.  So if I may go ahead and send a prayer on this board to you.

Lord, I ask that you give my sister renewed hope in you.  That you would send your spirit to her, give her strength as it says in your word that you will lift our weary hands and feeble knees. Please send others around her to minister to her so she can rest.  Let her know your peace that know matter what physical condition we are in that you love her.  Bless you, Denise(Baloo)

Hi Tiki, I pray for your recovery. I had to look up a book that had been written by Pat Robertson, a question was presented to him "When I pray for healing and don't see or feel any immediate results, should I pray again, pray a different way, or just pretend that everything is ok, that God heard my prayer and will answer someday in His time?" This is his answer to her....Jesus told his disciples to "keep on asking," "keep on seeking", "keep on knocking". Those who did would receive, find and have the door opened. He taught almost desperate perserverance in prayers. Much of our praying is halfhearted and not desperate. We are to keep on banging on the gates of heaven until we have an assurance in our hearts of one of two things: either God says no, or God says yes. If He says no, then we must receive His will and get on with our lives. If He says yes, we should begin praising Him for the answer which we know is on the way.  God honors presistent prayer, and it is not wrong to bring the same issue to Him repeatedly until you know His will. Once you know what God wants, then pray accordingly. Sometimes the process He will show us things that need to be fixed in our own lives before the answer comes. We need to realize that we just can't shake a little tree and expect blessings to shower us. God is not a genie in a lantern that needs only to be rubbed three times and poof! and we get what we want. We must be willing to surrender ourselves deply in prayer to the things of God. He will withhold no good thing from them that walk uprightly.

I hope this can help you. Your healing question came at a good time for myself and my daughter, I needed this too! May your prayers and healing be answered soon and I pray others will be there with you in prayer.

God Bless, Holly turn
