Yesterday morning was ok I felt tired (thats not unusual when you have fibro and get up at 6am) By noon I was freezing cold and had a fire going had it near 80 and was still cold. Hubby had a dinner meeting so it was a what ever night My son made chicken Queseadas he is a great cook. Around 8:00 I felt so sick to my stomach And did not get any sleep would sleep 20-30 minutes adn wake up. I went cleaned the house I do on Wednesdays my hands hurt so bad I could hardly grip the vaccum. My feet hurt. It feels like the muscles going from hip to Knee is about afoot to short being stretched like a rubber band. I feel weak and sooo tired. those of you that have had the (BUG) thats going around did it start like this or am I heading into a flare.... Think I am going to fill the tub and soak. did I tell you that hubby insisted putting a 2 person tub in and its takes an hour to feel the darn thing.  Would go to hot tub but I can not get the top back on by my self anymore....Its 45 here damp and dreary...

Wow - that does sound like a bad day. You poor thing!
I'm not sure what a "flare" is, myself. My pain is pretty consistent. Although yesterday it was like 100 times worse, so maybe that's what they're talking about.
Take the time to fill the tub and try epsom salts - the magnesium is good for your bod...Relax in that huge tub!
I hope you feel better soon.
Oh btw I was going to say that I thought yesterday I was getting some bug, but it turned out to just be the fibro.
I have Fibromyalgia, and nothing else!
I take Lyrica 225 mg/day and Tramadol (150mg time-released) and amytriptilene 7.5mg

LeeAnn, I hope you feel better soon.  I have been in a flare since Friday & go from total pain to total fatigue.  I am sleeping well now, but at first I had insomnia so bad I couldn't sleep.  Today I am tired & the pain has leveled off to just sore.  What a life.  You inspire me to get busy even through the pain.  You Rock!!!  Take care & feel better soon.  Many soft hugs, Denise

K9, Hello & welcome back.  I have missed you & was wondering if something had happened to you or if you were just busy.  Nice to see you posting.  Hugs, Denise

Ok.. move over a little in that 2 person tub, LeeAnn!!  I need a big tub like that, ours is tiny, if you want to soak your shoulders then the bottom half of your body is sticking half way out.. FREEZING.  It's fine for a little kid but not a grown human!!

I had a really painful day yesterday, too. Today's been a little better but not great.

Hope you're feeling better and not getting the flu or anything. My hubby came home after work yesterday with a cold coming on, I got the Ziacam and I'm feeding him well and making sure he's getting lots of fluids, while I stay FAR AWAY, with Lysol and antibacterial wipes in hand!!!!

I am getting over the flu right now. It started out with me just feeling kinda crappy. I thought it was because I hadn't slept that great the two nights before, and that can make me feel lousy. But the next morning, I was sick as a dog. You could be getting the flu. It is going around. It can bring on a flare because your body is working so hard to fight the infection. It is a lousy feeling. I will keep you in my prayers. Just try to hang in there. It will get better. Make sure you drink plenty of clear fluids like water and Sprite or 7up. Don't eat too much strong food. Stick to crackers and dry toast, and maybe some chicken noodle soup. Hang in there.

I hope you are feeling a little better.  I would treat it like I was getting a cold.  As Tiki said, drink more fluid and baby yourself as much as possible.  It sounds like you are chilled and your weather could be playing into that, too.  I'm not sure where you live but your description sounded like it's cold and damp and that doesn't help fibro either.
Stress, anxiety, and fibro can all cause nausea so I'm not sure what it going on.  Just take care and feel better soon.

I too hope that you are feeling better, I had bronchitis this past month and it really was bad. Had to get some anti biotics and prednisone to kick it. I guess it takes us a little longer to heal than others. Take care of yourself and know that we are thinking of you.

Hugs, Karen

LeeAnn, I sure hope you are doing better. I, too, have been dealing with what I believe is a flu bug, a virus. My husband had it beginning late last week and I got it yesterday. Chills, sneezing, massive chest congestion, sore throat, fatigue, headache, sinus congestion, MAJOAR joint aches and pain. I have never had joint aches and pain like I did this morning. Thank God my husband was home or I would not have been able to get out of bed. No nausea thank goodness. He is still dealing with some chest congestion and sore throat after 6 days. It hit me differently but he is run down. Hope you feel better soonest.
