Hey
I just keep seeing this over and over again in posts everybody saying ..... I took flexeril, it did nothing. It was also one of the first prescriptions my doctor gave me and same thing, it did nothing.
I'm not looking for any feedback here myself cause I don't use that medication anymore, this is just a general complaint ... lol .... has anybody had positive effects from taking this med.

Take Care

Hey there, I have been on a combo of flexeril, ultram and cymbalta for a few years. It works really well for me.

When I take Flexeril it makes me sleep and it keeps me drowsy for at least 48 hours. I feel like it stays in my system extra long. The new version of if (I forget what it's called that works for 24 hours, that just makes it worse for me and I stay drowsey even longer) I find that Soma seems to work better for me and leaves my system quicker, which is generally what I need so I can go to work the next day

From my understanding it is a muscle relaxer, but it is also works as a anti-depressant. Thats why the doctor wanted me to take it everyday.  I don't, no thankyou.  It takes me a whole day to come out of the groggyness it leaves me in when I take it night.

Fibromyalgia, Hashimoto Thyroid disease, Chronic pain.

I take it & it has helped me immensely.  I use Melatonin with it to help me go to sleep & I only use it at night for sleep.  I sleep very well, unless I am flaring with Fibro, because I get such insomnia with the Fibro.  I do sleep alot of hours & I allow myself the sleep.  I used to try to get up after 8 hours of sleep but with both Fibro & CFS it is a battle of sleepy vs insomnia & groggy vs refreshed.  I don't think I could use it if I was working & had to get up.  Hugs, Denise
