Hi guys... I am new here. I wanted to write a quick post and introduce myself. I am Linz, almost 25 years old, I have 2 children... now for the not so fun stuff. I was diagnosed with Fibro after the birth of my second child in 2005. In the last few months I have found out that I also have Fibro to blame for my bladder problems, irregular heart rate and heart burn among other things. I have had migraines since I was 4 years old and after 21 years of having them, and trying every medication I can, they are no better. I also have arthritis in my hips (so says my doctor). I am not so sure if it is arthritis or the fibro. I was on Lyrica until a few weeks ago when I lost my job, and health insurance, now I am suffering. A lot. I have been going through a huge custody ordeal with my ex husband for the last few years and the depression, chronic fatigue and chronic pains don't help. I have been reading through some of the posts about things you can do to help deal with the pain, like the biting your lip for the toe cramps... I will have to remember that at 3 a.m when I am awoken by by feet and toes cramping. I am looking for all the help I can get!

Hi Ouch,

I just posted on one of your other threads. It is great that you decided to post here. I think that you will find that this can be a fun place to be, plus you get so much reinforcement and support with everything. I think that it is nice for the most part to know that you are not alone in your suffering.

When you get a chance, if you haven't already, read the fibro101 thread. It is the second thread. There is a lot of helpful information on that thread.

I hope that you are having a good day today. Please do continue to post. I would like to let you know that we also have a very good depression forum. So feel free to visit us when needed.

Hugs, Karen

Hi Ouch!

Welcome to the fibro family! There are so many wonderful people here and a lot of info-definitely check out the 101 thread-there is so much great info there.

I am so sorry that you're suffering with this dd, and I am VERY sorry to hear about your custody issues. I can't imagine how hard that must be. Please know that we are here and will always listen and help you in any way we can.

Welcome again!
