I was diagnosed with PMR in August 2005.  I have been taking Prednisone with up 30 mg  sometimes when the attacks are too strong. The rheumatologist says it's one of the very few cases he has seen where the condition is so resistent. Now he has me on MTX (here in Germany) which is a type of chemo therapy. It was supposed to help stop the condition. I have been taking it since October 2008, and at the time he gave me 3 months. A month ago, he has increased the dose for another 3 months, but it still doesnt help. Any advice ? Thank you all.
