I spent a lot of time in the kitchen yesterday - preparing foods that I hope I will be able to eat (gastroparesis cry ).  So much standing on the hard kitchen floor really has my legs hurting this morning.

And I have a choir concert tonight, which means a whole lot more standing.  Oy.  (But Choir is one of those magical things that create happy feelings and make the pain go away for a while!)

But I also have a husband who doesn't like to see me in pain.  When the Dr. told us the best thing to do for fibro pain is hydrotherapy, hubby started planning our bathroom remodel - and installed the best whirlpool tub he could find!  It helps SO MUCH!!

I will be spending a lot of time in there today! smilewinkgrin

I try to sit at the table for food preparing stuff. I also sit in between checking and stirring food. I also sit on a stool for dishes or other stuff when I just can not stand. Your husband sounds amazing!! I hope oyu can enjoy the whirlpool and then choir after. Oh I also bought one of those foam/rubber floor mats for my kitchen. It makes a huge difference. I am thinking of covering the whole floor in it,lol

Oh I've seen those mats and always think it seems like a wonderful idea!  Seem a bit pricey so I haven't tried it yet.  Really makes a difference, huh?  Maybe I'll look into it again.

Is the whirlpool one that you sit in a seat in or do you have to go down into the tub. I had the lay down type in my other house and am thinking of getting the sitting one in my next place.

Rest tomorrow.

You lay down in the tub. :-)

Just got home from the concert. It went great and I'm still pumped! But I know I will feel it tomorrow. Thanks.
