Not much body pain right now. But boy, this rash is soooo annoying. Then if I scratch it ,it bleeds all over me and everything else.....My eyes hurt and my ringing ears....I was just eating rocky road ice cream, dropped a small chunk on my other hand and watched it melt instantanously !!! because my hands are both swollen and inflamed from the R.A. Help...... cry

The Derm. calls this wacky rash, Neurodermatitis. The Rx. topicals don't help and the rash seems to "go away" all on it's own accord, over time ???. Just another baffling bother !! Just like "my year of eye complaints of 2007".... Viral conjunctivitis, dry eye and mouth symptoms....Sorry I'm so frustrated..... Aren't so many of these annoyances related to whatever causes F.M. ? Hopefully, the Neuro. can shed some light on why I developed spontaneous foot drop on my left side. I'm so "sick" of taking Rx.'s for the symptoms... Ohhhhhh.... Tommorrow is a new day.....!!

Hey there Spice!!

I looked up Neurodermatitis at this website.. http://www.med.umich.edu/1libr/aha/umskin18.htm  I'm sure you looked it up but for those who don't know what it is they might want to check it out.  I have psoriasis, it's very itchy and stress always makes it worse.  Be careful of itching too much because it can get infected.

As for the drop foot thing.. Do you have back problems like sciatica??  I know that can cause drop foot.  Are you getting PT for your drop foot problem??

Also the dry mouth and dry eye thing could be Sjorns Syndrome.. which seems to be common to fibromites.  Here's a link.. http://www.medicinenet.com/sjogrens_syndrome/article.htm  My dad had it.. he also had fibro.  I have chronic dry eye.. so I'm sure pretty soon I'll be facing sjorns too.. Yipppie.. NOT.  I'm also susceptible to eye infections.

Take care,

Patti
