I have been dealing with a horrid tooth abscess all weekend. Yay me right? finally got some antibiotics and ibuprofen and Tylenol. I can not take most narcotics so the pain isn't completely gone but at least bearable. Like my fibro pain isn't enough I get this issue. So of course fibro pain has exscilated with it. I am on my couch and able to eat about only soup. I can't chew. talk or move much at all. I have my second ruem. appointment tomorrow, no clue how that will go. I do not think the lyrica or the aqua. therapy is doing me much good. I hope everyone else is better off.

Awww (Moonmatrix). I am so sorry you're going through this. I have had many issues with my teeth over the past few years and I know how bad it hurts! Something about a toothache makes it one of the worst pains on the planet (at least in my opinion!)

I really hope your meds kick in soon and you start feeling better. Until then-please go easy on yourself! :)
love and hugs

A-w-w-w Moon, I feel your pain- Just went through the abcessed tooth thing right at Christmas time and it was awful! I had a root canal and the tooth has never felt better. It must have been brewing for awhile because what a difference on how I feel now. The anti-biotics should start to kick in for you soon.

I'm so sorry you are going through this.  Unfortunately, dental problems seem to be pretty common with fibro.  In the past 3 years, I've had 6 root canals and 2 apicoectomies for failed root canals.  I sooo understand what you are having to deal with.  I'm sending gentle (((hugs))).

Moon, I am not sure if it has anything to do with grinding our teeth at night. I'm sure it does not help matters though.

I'm with GamJil: Sorry for your pain moonmatrix. I went through that just before xmas and it was four days of pure h---. I laid in bed with hot compresses, as they seemed to give a little relief, and took advil, and burned my stomach lining, and hurt, like nothing else ever hurt including childbirth. I noticed over the past three years my teeth have become almost transparent, and jagged, sharp little edges everywhere. It's probably grinding that does it. I hope you get that fixed soon.
