Has anyone else done this? I have been taking 30mg of Cymbalta twice a day, once in the morning, another at night. My doc gave this to me to help with the fibro as well as my anxiety and depression. I was also taking Klonopin for a year, but haven't had any in over a week (WOO HOO!!) Here's my issue; I lost my job last week. I was frantically trying to get a hold of my doc to help me make this switch, but I cannot get a hold of her!! She has disappeared off the face of the planet!! I ran this switch by my naturopathic physician, but he'd like to discuss it during an appointment. He doesn't seem to understand... I don't have a job until next week!! I cannot afford the $80 appointment mad
So I e-mailed him that I bought 50mg of 5-HTP and that I'm going to start taking that at night and only take 30mg of Cymbalta in the morning. He said this should be fine. And thats all. I'm very frustrated, but I believe I know what I'm doing.
Has anyone had success with this switch and could you give me some pointers on how to do this switch safely? Are there any supplements I should be taking as well to be sure its effective?
