I am stressed beyond belief. My day started being a mediator for a family who's daughter is in a domestic violence situation.  After talking she still decided to go back to her abuser. I was just shaking and shaking, sharing my walk in that life.  Then I have to drive back and forth picking up, daughter, husband, daughter, husband. We only have one car right now. Then I got a call from my oldest daughter in Colorado who had a bad fall down a flight of stairs and she couldn't breath or see.  I Can't get to her.  She is in the ER now.  My nerves are shot and needless to say, I am sick to my stomach from this.  My youngest daughter is still having pain and weakness, and we've spent alot of time in the docs office this week, and more rounds next week. They are having her take antidepressants, and I am not sure thats what I want her to do. Well, this is probably nothing, but I am not finding my coping skills today, and needed to vent.
Even if I did find my ruby slippers my heals would probably hurt to much to click them to get home. Thanks. tongue

Oh and now we have another shooting, I went thru Columbine, so my heart is breaking for these students and their families.

Father God,

Songbird, it's wonderful that you want to say these beautiful prayers for Baloo but it is overtly religious in nature and it breaks rule #4.  I'm a Christian and truly believe in prayer but we do have to be careful to abide by the rules.  I hope you understand.  I edited your next post for the same reason.  I'm sorry I have to do this.

Help her to find a place of safety.

Wow - that DOES sound like a lot of stress. Prayer, meditation and relaxation are all good things. Then there's the hot bath and soothing stuff idea. But sometimes, I think it's a good idea to like - drive your car outside of town and SCREAM at the top of your lungs! Screaming a whole whack of filthy swear words at God or the universe, whatever you believe has ignored you or screwed you over...that works too. Trust me!

Glad you're doing a little better now... man you've had a lot on your plate.

I'm been humming the "If I Only Had A Brain" tune ever since I saw the title of your thread.. LOL!!!  I'm not talking about YOU .. I'm talking about ME!!!

Hang in there, Sweetie.  Try to take it easy when you can.

Gentle hugs...
