Hi Friends and Fam..

Well.. I finally got another job.  I'll still be working in the same industry that I was before (non profit/economic developement) but not as much responsibility.  I'm a little nervous because its full time and a half hour each way so I'll be putting in a long week.  Fortunately my new boss is a dear friend and I've worked with her before so she understands my health issues.  I couldn't have asked for a better situation to come along.  I still plan to file for disability but not right now.. we'll see if I can handle the full time thing.

I don't start for a month so I still have some time to enjoy before I go back to the old grind.  Even though I'm nervous, I'm excited too.

Don't worry I'll still be around.. just wanted to let you all  know what's up with me!!

Hugs for now...
Patti

Congratulations, Patti!  yeah    It's wonderful that you know your boss and your boss knows all about your health issues.  That's a huge plus for you.  I hope all goes well and you enjoy it.  It's great to get out in the world again.

Congrats, Patti!!! I do hope it goes well, and it sounds like it will since your boss understands, but please listen to your body and don't overdo it. nono I would hate to see you push yourself, my dear.

Grats!

Is there any way you could phase back into work with a few partial weeks before you start doing full time?  It's going to take a while to build up some endurance again.

Best wishes!

Awww thanks everybuddy!!! You're all so sweet and supportive!!!
I'll be fine.. the boss rocks!! She's the type that will make sure I play a computer game now and then to keep the stress away.. she did before when we worked together and I know she will again.. And.. I know she'll be supportive of my popping in and out of here when I'm at work.. I know I'm very lucky and I won't abuse it .. Much (not)!!
Don't worry Rich.. I'll be ok.. it might take a few weeks to build up my strength.. but if I need to do it slowly the boss will work with me.
I love you guys.. and I'll still be around for a month.. so I'm not gone yet and I'll never really leave.. you all changed my life for the better and I'll always appreciate that.. so don't start missing me. :)
Hugs all around!!
Patti
