I wake up this morning shaking and nausea's. I felt hot so I took my temp. It was 93 degree's. so I called the doc. I was in hypothermia. So I took the advice took a hot bath, drank warm fluids and got under the blankets. Now I am sick with a sore throat, fever and my chest hurts. I feel horrible. They think its some viral thing so no antibiotics. Call them tomorrow if I am still sick. Yeah, I am just really tired of catching everything that comes my way. And Why did I have hypothermia. Now I have a thyroid issue so that's the only thing I can come up with. rolleyes Just tired, slept all day and boy do I miss being active.

I hope you feel well soon. Hypothermia, who would have ever guessed that something like that could happen without being exposed to the elements?

Take care of your self,

I was told or read somewhere with fibro our thermostats are broken? Not sure if that has anything to do with the low temp or not. Hope this doesn't last long for you. I ended up with some kind of stomach bug last Saturday and did not feel better till Tues. I was shaky, sweaty, and well we won't go into details!

Feel better!

Baloo, I'm sorry you are having this problem.  I did a search and it said that some medications can cause hypothermia and also hypothyroidism can cause it too, and you said you have that problem.  Are you seeing the same doctor for this treatment as you see for your hypothyroidism?  I know I'd try to get to the bottom of this problem.

I hope you are feeling better and stay warm!
