So I head to Wal-Mart and got a new bra, not one of the nice ones with gel shoulders and wider straps... no I got 'smart' haha and got a sports bra out of the lil girls dept. $8.88 for 3, not a bad deal, but I have to admit, I should have just gotten the more expensive gel strapped comfy bra. 1/3 my body weight hanging from two spaghetti straps.... fog:1 me:0

I know there are several threads about bras, but as my husband found this soooooo amusing I thought yall might too LOL

All I can say is... I so sympathize on this one. The only difference for me is that I wear a large enough cup size that there's no running into wal-mart for a bra. The best I can do is special orders online. They don't make these puppies out of anything other than industrial spandex and bridge cable, I swear.

LOL I wear a 32JJ bra, and was hoping that the 32 inch lil girls sports bra would work... yes, it's staying put on the rib cage, but I feel like a muffin put to bake in a too small muffin cup, which has now puffed up and exploded out of the cup LOL

OK, this is really getting weird. I don't have to special order my bras, but there's really only one brand and type of bra that will hold these things back! tongue Anyway, I'm beginning to wonder if there's a connection between fibro and large breasts.

OK, and just to complain for all of us girls with big boobs, will they ever make a big bra that is pretty? You'd think that they'd have them by now. rolleyes

I've found pretty bras at Lane Bryant before. They are a bit more expensive, though, so I stick with the Just My Size.

Hmm..I am very top heavy, too..Wonder if there is a connection?? (repetitive stress on the back and other muscles, maybe?)

I hope there is a connection, kelly71 - I just had the large breasts cut off! So maybe my fibro will get better now? I sure hope so! My newly reconstructed girls are a "B" cup - goodbye double Ds!
I have Fibromyalgia, and nothing else!
I take Lyrica 225 mg/day and Tramadol (150mg time-released) and amytriptilene 7.5mg

Nope, no connection, I have 38C's bras, not anywhere near big but good enough for my body size. But I still require comfy bras or it hurts my shoulders like crazy, and absoutly no wires. I like my bras to have those cups where they look like the breats are still in them when you take them off cause they offer alot of support to me, and like I said, if theirs a wire I wont even try them on. Wires in the bras feel like a weapon to me lol, cause when they get washed too many times, they come out and stab the heck iut of me, I've even had blood drawn from them.

Another "special order" gal here! If taking 80% of them off would cure the fibro, sign me up! But I'm afraid it's not gonna happen. I HATE bras! Doesn't matter what they are made of they are never comfortable. Going without is relief but can't do that in front of the general public. Don't want to scare dogs and small children!

I've never worn over a B cup so there is no connection there for me.

My heart goes out to those with big breast. The way my shoulders hurt I can't imagine how you girls feel trying to hold them up.

K9, I think I would opt for surgery too. I once had a hairdresser that had reduction and she was soooo proud of her perky new boobs. tongue
