Hi there PL..

I've been on it for about one month longer than you have.  I've gained about 15-20lbs.  I'm not in the least bit happy about that!!  I'm going to start a weight loss program on Monday.. yeah yeah.. I know we've all said that before, but I found that if I avoid carbs I always feel much better and I can lose weight.  I'll be going back to work in the beginning of May so I need to start building myself back up and start eating smarter and walking more. Atleast now the weather will (knock on wood) cooperate.

I too am a golden ret. lover.. my Zeke is a 10 yr old golden ret/cocker span. mix.  I love him to peices.  He's a good boy and is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Oh yeah, you mentioned puppy breath in yesterdays Koffee Klatch about smells.. one of my favs that I didn't mention.  I said ... I know a lot of people that love that smell too.. but I don't think it would make a very good perfume!!

Take care,
Patti

I've been on it 7 months and haven't gained a pound.

I gained some (5 lbs maybe) when I first took Lyrica but then it settled down and I lost it again over having surgery and haven't gained it back.

Oh I should add - I only take 7.5 mg of amytrip. ... more made me feel too drugged to do anything.

I've been on 100 mg for 11 yrs straight and I have gained weight but according to what I eat I should weigh a lot more than I do. It does make me crave sweets and I don't like that.

luv and hugs

Wow 100 mg! Holy pharmaceuticals Batman! Good on ya for being able to tolerate it in that kind of dosage. When I took 10 mg I felt like a drugged zombie all day. I started with 1.25 mg (1/8th of a pill) and worked my way up to 3/4 of a pill. 10mg is the smallest dose they come in, apparently.

So me not gaining weight at my small dose is no comfort, really. Good to note that!

I was on 100 milligrams for about a year, and 40 milligrams of Paxil and 4 milligrams of Klonopin. Definitely gained weight about 30 pounds, but my normal weight is 240, so it wasn't to bad, and more I think from the fact I seriously craved sweets then the drugs directly doing it.

You know what I sorta liked about that combination of those drugs. Well, two things. I went to work for this plumbing company and the first two weeks I had to ride along with a senior plumber to prove my worth. First thing I liked is I could drink coffee like mad and it didn't bother me. Those two weeks I am running around everywhere with one of those 64 ounce mugs trying to negate some of the effect of the drugs and be able to function. Other thing I liked is this guy was constantly complaining about everything and nothing bothered me. No amount of his complaining bothered me, and no job was to tough or nasty. I would just dive in. He even commented, "Wow, nothing seems to get to you man and you happily do anything we ask" Yes, I was a rare find. A rare, totally stoned out find. If they had only known why I was so mellow and willing to please. LOL turn
