Just wanted to say hello. I have not been diagnose with FM yet. I have a doctor appointment on Thursday this week. I have pain all over that comes and goes or just hangs around nagging me and making me miserable. I get headaches and migraines. I'm tired all the time. It's hard to do anything at all without hurting or having shooting pains in mostly my legs, hands and arms. It's hard to sleep at night because of the pain. And sometimes I just wake up and can't get back to sleep. I'm moody, irratable(sp) and I forget things all the time.

Well, that's me! Oh my mom has been diagnosed with Fibro. years ago. But, I don't remember her having it as young as me. I'm 36. But, some days I feel old. Blah! LOL<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Hopefully, you do not have Fibro. There are short term inflammatory conditions that will hit the joints like that, cause all of those symptoms you listed and you go to your Doctor, get your anti-inflammatory script, suffer it out a week, two, a month and your back in the pink again. Seen it happen to people a dozen times at least in person.

But if you do happen to end up with a Fibro diagnoses and you probably won't since their criteria on the pain and fatigue is lasting six months at least, what can I say but, Welcome! Grab a cup of coffee and pull up your computer chair.

Seriously though, I wish you luck on this and have a gut feeling that not to far down the road you will be back to normal again.

Thank you Grailhunter! :) I had some knee pain at 26 and then I had muscle problems at about 29 when I had my third child. Couldn't push her stroller without it hurting. I had physical therapy for awhile but it came back and got worse. I do have inflamation in my shoulders and have for awhile even after meds. I am still positive no matter what. I hope for the best.

Thanks again!

I am glad that you are keeping a positive attitude. That is so important. Whether it is fibro or not. It sounds to me like you could have it. Your doctor will figure it out. Often they have to rule everything else out by doing xrays and bloodwork. I hope that you don't have it, but as was said above, grab that cup of coffee and pull up a chair and read, read, and read some more. There is a wealth of information here for you to soak in.

Hugs, Karen
