Hello to you all! This may seem like a silly question, but I am looking for a new bed and was wondering what my fellow sojourners sleep on. I am leaning towards one of the tempur-pedics or the angel beds. Do any of you have either of these beds? I know that the tempur-pedics are quite expensive, while the angel beds are supposed to be the same thing, but at a lower price. I know also that these sort of beds have been recommended for both arthritis and fibromyalgia. But, before I shell out the money, I was hoping to get some first-hand suggestions.

So, any suggestions?

I sleep on a Tempurpedic and love it. It is the most comfortable bed for me but others have different preferences. Go around to different stores and try out all of them. If anything, it will be fun.

I couldn't afford either of those so I purchased a king sized 6 inch foam mattress to place on top of our old set. Then I topped this off with a memory foam topper. Did the whole thing for about $168 and it's working very well. As an added bonus the taller bed makes getting in and out of bed much easier on my knees. It's also easier on my back to make the bed.

My father gave me his king size bed when his gf moved in with him and brought her bed, and it is a very expesive pillow top bed, and with the frame it was about 2 thousand dollars, but he had it up really high off the grown so I removed the box spring and it has been wonderful, but also I have a feather mattress on top of it. BUT my wonderful daughter jumped on it with her friends and broke one of the wood pieces holding up the mattress so theirs a dip right where my back is, so I need to buy a new piece, but I dont know where to get one, its just long piece of wood, so maybe like homedepot or something like that sells wood?? I love really soft beds, and this bed has a really nice frame that I love, but looks funny in my room cause the rooms in my aparmtent arnt that big and it takes up over half of the room, but thats ok lol. But if I had the money I would go for that sleep number beds, I tried one at my local mall and loved it, so I can adjust it to how much my back and body hurts, cause sometimes I need something soft but sometimes I need something a little bit more firm, oh well, I spent all my backpay from my disabilty check on a car I crashed, I just have the worst luck.
