Does antyone else have this?  It feels like there is a tight band wrapped around my left knee and there is tightness in my calf as well.. it is driving me crazy as it is only in the left leg.  My paranoia kicks in lol.  Every now and then it will do it to a lesser degree in the right leg...sometimes I wish it would be in the right leg all the time like the left so that I wouldn't be imagining other things...bad things... that could be wrong.  Maybe I need to go visit the anxiety board for a while LOL

Hi Missy,

I do not have the feeling at the knee but most definitely do in the calves. I fasciculate and when the muscles fatigue I may cramp. Of late mg/malic acid coupled with calcium has really helped. I do have the tight feeling and think it is quite normal. My legs are pretty evenly matched.

Hope this helps.

Missy...both my calves feel like they are wrapped tight in an ace bandage.  I described it to the doctor as a numb sensation but they aren't numb.  I don't feel it as much when there is nothing against my legs.  He wasn't the slightest bit concerned about it.  Said it could be fibro or anxiety...or both.  I also have restless Leg and don't know if that's it because I have it all day long and not just at night.  I just feel like my skin is too tight and shriveling up around the muscle.

I've had this on and off for years so I'm trying not to worry about it.  I find that any kind of clothing with a texture makes the sensation worse.

Don't worry, girl.  I know it's easier said then done.  Feel better.

Missy,
Hi, my left calf hurts right on the top of the shin. I thought it would go away after the knee operation but it continues to hurt. I take skelaton (muscle relaxer) it seems to help. Hope you feel better soon.

This has been happening to me too but only in my right leg in the calf muscle. It feels like a tight band around it. If I do some heel flexes it seems to help the tightness but not the pain.
Take Care,

Hi Missy,

That is how I discribe my pain. A huge blood pressure cup is around my arms and legs. They start to inflate some much your arms are in pain and you fingers are tingling. Then the pain radiate through my body from arms to legs and back.. Yeah, I know it it!!!! Still don't know why or how to get to stop.

I just got my first weird calf cramping today, while I was driving. I've had the type of leg cramps that wake you up in the middle of the night when you don't drink enough water, so I knew this was different right away. It was more constrictive and squeezing. When I straightened out the muscle the fluttering cramp stopped, but the pain stayed. It was so bizarre and unexpected, and lasted for a couple of hours or so.
