Have you seen a Rheumatologist? They are the "specialists" who are supposed to be the best at diagnosing and treating fibro. You could call around and ask if a particular doctor has lots of experience treating fibro before you make an appt. If you find someone who sees and treats a lot of fibro patients, I think you are more likely to get a proper diagnosis if it is fibro.
There are also lots of GP's and Internists who treat fibro. Again, I would call and make sure that a particular doctor is familiar with fibro and treats a lot of fibro patients.
