Hold on to you hats...I just saw on the national news that after several years of extensive research, they have come to the conclusion that those who exercise on a regular basis live longer than couch potaotes!  What?  Are you kidding? I am in such shock at this I can hardly get off my butt to grab the remote and change the channel!  I mean, it hardly makes any sense..does it??
Come on you two three, gimp!  Hobble, crawl stagger hop!  Faster now...I want sixteen leg spasms done in succession by dinner time.
Seriously though, I know that most of us exercise the best we can to help with our condition.  I just found it amusing that some University would have to spend all that time and money on a concept that a sack full of doorknobs would already know. hips ache.  bad fibro...bad, bad fibro.

Yeah Donna, that really does sound like a no-brainer, and big waste of resources to conduct a study like that.

Too bad it is so hard for some of us to get up and get going. I went outside and planted a couple strawberry plants today, and that was about all I could muster for today. Don't think it counts for much in terms of my longevity, but it did cheer me up a bit.

The 70, 80. and 90+ year olds at the pool discuss this all of the time in the locker room Gee, they must be at least 80 years older than the study.

However 65% of American adults do not exercise. So, I guess they gotta read the study.
