My back always feels extremely stiff, so last night I asked my boyfriend if he would massage it and see if it would loosen up.  He told me that it didn't feel tense or stiff at all.  This worried me, because he said his legs felt the same way when he had his MS relapse.  So now I'm confused.  Could this be a symptom of fibro?  Has anyone else had this happen to them?  I'm somewhat concerned.  I don't think it is MS though, because pain killers do help some.  My boyfriend told me that with MS they don't help at all.  I think it's probably just fibro... but I just want to be sure.

Take care,

My back hurts all of the time. At night my hubby will gently rub my back while we watch TV and it helps enough so that I can sleep.

It probably is your fibro, but if you are the slightest bit concerned, you should talk to your doctor :-)

My back hurts all of the time.  I just laid in a floating lounge for about an hour and my back hurt the whole time.  I came back in and took some ibuprofen.  That will make my back feel better in a little while.  I think it's most likely fibro.
