My doc has written me a script for lithium and not sure I want to take it after reading about on the net.  Has anyone out there taken it for fibro?

If you need lithium, you should take it. I have friends who use lithium and their lives have improved from it. However, it is not a fibromyalgia medication.

Donnaeil, I checked and they are using lithium for therapy for fibromyalgia.  I know I wouldn't want to take it, but that's just my opinion.  Here is the link to the information.

I hope that helps you decide what to do.  I was surprised because lithium is generally used for bipolar.
