I listen to a doctor every Sunday and this past week he was talking about taking meds with fruit juice.  I know most of us have heard not to take medication with grapefruit juice and that grapefruit juice can make your medication more potent.  But, I found out that by taking medication with orange juice could make the medication LESS potent!  He highly suggests that you take your medication with water.  Thought I'd pass this one on to you.

Thanx Sherrine, nice to know.

I always use water, except my fiber pills are HUGE, so sometimes I use milk for those. I guess I think I'm fooling myself with the little bit thicker liquid. Who knows, might sound strange. :-b

Have a great day!

I don't really ever drink fruit juice.. it tears my tummy up.  I always take my meds w/ water.  I'm one of those weirdos that has to count everything (inside my head.. not out loud).. when I take my meds I always count my swallows of water.  Its always 16 swallows.  Weird??  Maybe not.. because the more you drink with your med the better absorbed they will be.. so says a phamacist that I know.
