Hi all.  I know this has been discussed before, but I didn't have much luck when I searched for it.  I can't figure out how to search just within the Fibro forum. confused

I know some of you use T.E.N.S units, and I'm wondering how and where you use them for fibro.  What parts of your body do you use them on, how often, and do you find that they help much?

Also, I'm thinking that someone on here mentioned using a certain kind of sticky pad for more sensitive skin with her T.E.N.S unit (I'm allergic to adhesives).

Finally, does anyone have a particular brand or store that you can recommend?

Thank you so much in advance for any input.  I'm having lots of pain lately and am really wanting to try some other "natural" therapies.

I've seen them on sale on amazon.com for reasonable price. You might even be able to find some sort of hypoallergenic pads if you searched there as well. I would consult with a doc or PT about settings though....wouldnt want to curl yer hair! hahaha

Good luck in your search, let us know if it helps!

My husband bought one I think from Amazon.  I love it.  I use it for my shoulders mostly.  I don't use a real high setting and I live on about 15-20 minutes.  I can place the pads myself usually.  If more towards the center of my back my husband places them.
