I am a SAHM of 9. I am 38 and remarried, My DH and I have a blended family. I gave birth to 5 and he has 6. Our two oldest do not live with us. My oldest is 16 and is living with his father. I have 1 boy and 4 girls and he has 5 boys and 1 girl..LOL The ages are pretty much the same. We also have custody of his kids.

I am a registered Cosmetologist, I love doing hair and next year when all the kids are in school (whoohoo) I hope to get at least a part time job doing hair. Wrapping perms is what I have problem doing so I just go slow. I have noticed that some times my hands will stiffen up making using the scissors feel weird.

I love to sew dresses for my girls. My youngest is 5 and she LOVES to wear a dress. She loves to be pretty. I love photography and bought a Rebel XTI a year ago, I am still learning how to use the dang thing. LOL

I have yet to be Diagnosed with Fibro yet but I feel I have been suffering for the past 14 yrs. Slowly the symptoms have gotten worse. I would complain my legs hurt after standing on them for awhile and my DH would just say..what ever or give me the "Ohh come on" It wasn't until my sister was telling me about Grape Seed Extract and how she feel wonderful using it, so I went and picked some up and then looked on the internet what it was supposed to do. One thing that is listed is Fibro, knowing she has a MIL with Fibro I clicked on it and was amazed how all the symptoms listed I am suffering from. I just saw my Dr last week and told him everything that is going on. I left feeling like he didn't believe me, He is a young Dr and did admit he didn't know much about Fibro. I live in a very small town so the Dr. Pickings are not that great.

Oh WOW...do you ever have your hands full. I am in awe that you are even able to make it from sun up to bed time for all of those sweet babies. Even in your small town it would pay to ask around about a doc who is knowledgable in fibro. Likely you will have to travel to find someone and if that's the case I would suggest you do some good research. Ask someone who has a good doc that treats them for fibro; stay AWAY from places that promise you a 'cure'!; and if it were me I would look to the closest teaching/university hospital if it's within reasonable driving distance. Or look for a rheumatologist and make sure and interview these new folks to see what their take on fibro treatment is. YOU are hiring THEM...not the other way round.

It will be well worth your time to find a good medical team. Plus if you symptoms are not fibro then you do need to find out what's going on. Fibro can look like so many others disorders like MS for example. You need to get all of the other possibilities rules out.

Some days I want to go to bed at 8 with the kids..LOL It does help that the kids get along and get there chores done. All I have to do is supervise. They are really good kids and help out a lot.
