For the last week I have had balence issues were I have to hold something not fall. And the last 3 nights  when I get up to look online or whatever I have fallen just on my feet and the next I'm falling and not in the best way cause it wasnt a controled fall so crashing into the double closet doors and last night was on a bunch of stuff.  The first time I yelled for Jay to help me but last night he was up and going to the bathroom when he heard this hard crash and I was laying there crying so basicaly I hurt, every spot that could be bruised is.  Its like I do this automatcally when getting up to use the potty at night so Im half asleep when this happens.  I feel like ive been hit by truck today and have more bruises then I can count.  I guess its time to tie me to the bed at night.  Anyone have this happen to them?

Karen, only occasionally have I had this.  I'll be walking and then I start to fall and usually bang into a wall.  When I have pain or am having this problem, I use my cane to get to the bathroom.  It gives me the extra support that I need plus I walk very carefully.  I have osteoporosis and a fall could really spell trouble for me.  So, if you don't have a cane, get a cheap one in the drug store.  The one I bought collapses so I can take it with me when I travel.  Plus, it's easy to adjust to the proper heighth.

I have balance problems as well, and almost fell while standing in church last sunday. Nights are worse, but I've never taken a tumble like you did. Hope you heal quickly from it.

I am so glad to find this... I too have balance issues. But then I've had nausea with it somewhat, after the nausea a few days later i started to have shocks again.. I've gone about 5 mths without them after message therapy. Unfortunately, I had to stop going cause the compensation insurance doesn't pay on time... So anyway, after about a week of that, They got so bad I got scared that i was going to be that way again.. the first time it lasted about 2 1/2 years. But, thankfully it is sporatic so far. I don't know if I can deal with that again...
Has any of you had this sensation? I really don't know if it has anything to do with fibro. but It may be from my neck, fusion on 5-6.
