Yea I can relate but it is  only my feet that does it mostly.  Every now and again my legs will but it's mostly the feet.

Yes, I have that as well. My legs (shins) will feel like they are burning.

Absolutely...My whole body hurts like alot of the time. Some days just the weight of my clothes is so painful that I just want to scream out. Those are the days that I wear as little as possible and still be decent in!

OH YEAH! Somedays I describe it as feeling like a really bad sunburn. Somedays it's more like there's some sort of acid burning through my skin. shocked   It's a horrible feeling.  It's not usually my whole body at the same time.  It's either upper half or lower half.  Standing in line at the checkout in Walmart the other day I asked my husband if there were any flames shooting out the back of my neck. devil
I HATE that!

Yes, my shoulders often feel like they're sunburned, and I use aloe vera with lidocaine on them, it helps and also works for a red nose from colds, burns, diaper rashes... I've also used Noxema, which works for real sunburns as well.

Oh yes. I use BioFreeze . Walmart has a generic called Freeze It that works just as well. it is very soothing and cool to the skin and also helps the muscle pain.

Hi 'Bones and welcome to the forum! Most of my pains run from one part of my body to the next just to keep me on my toes, BUT the one constant I have is the chronic pain and burning in my back. Standing, sitting, leaning, reaching, breathing, thinking all seem to make it burn. I try to stretch as often as I can, I also have to lay flat on a heating pad or take a hot shower. I have pain patches, but I don't find them to be too helpful. My husband will massage my back when I ask him to, but sometimes just touching my back w/ his hands can send me out of my mind.
I prefer heat on my body, the thought of something cold sends me into shivers. One thing you have to remember is, even tho we all have FMS, we all have different things that work for us. Your best bet is try several ideas and see what works best for you. Good luck and let us know how you are doing.
God bless.  Alice.
