Can anyone relate to this, I am going through a bad time at present a really bad flare up at qny time of the day it feels like I have walked into a brick wall then I have to stop what I am doing and find somewhere I can sit or lay down and sleep this is not normal for me. I can be out somewhere and have to find a place to sit down. about 4 or 5 years ago a simular thing happened and lasted for several monthe it was put down to the drugs I was taking then. But now I only take 2 lots and I am sleeping well for the last tw months I have been getting about 7 or 8 hours each night. Also can anyone tell me of a good dedorant everyting I try at present gives me a horrible rash even the ones I have been using for years. I hate the allergies here it is winter and the wattle trees are flowering so that is making my allergies play up.

Brick wall - yes. I have been known to curl up on the kitchen floor because I was too tired to move somewhere more comfortable.

Deodorant - try Mum hypoallergenic (in a pink container). It was the only one my mother could use after chemotherapy. The only problem is that it leaves white marks on your clothes.

I think you'd better specify that you're Australian, Kathy, or else all the Americans will start suggesting their brands.

Kathy,
Ask your doctor to check your thyroid... Might be causing the "wall" thing. The other choice is diabetes... I have problems with both and did the 'sleep at the drop of a hat' thing for a few years until I got the two problems sorted out.

I did the rash with antiperspirants for a while when Mum-in-law was staying with us and was dying. For me it was pure stress... I finally had to switch to baby powder under my arms. Couldn't handle anything else. I used to apply a hydrocortizone cream at night, then in the morning bathe with gentle soap and put on baby powder a couple of times a day.

Good luck with this.

I don't have a car, so I get around on foot. I have been known to sit down in the middle of the sidewalk as many as 4 times on the way back from the grocery store (a quarter mile). I hate that whole brick wall thing :(
