If you are interested in more holistic type treatments, you might like to pick up a book that I use alot called "Natural Treatments for Fibromyalgia: An A to Z Guide" by Kenna Simmons and published by the Arthritis Foundation. It answers alot of these types of questions and even tells you dosage suggestions.
So what this handy book says about
Coenzyme Q10 is that it works with enzymes to speed up the metabolic process and provide energy needed for healthy muscles. Apparently it's most often used for people with heart disease but some people with fibro feel that it may help boost their energy and repair muscle. They go on to say that CoQ10 is expensive (because it is so popular right now) and that you could get the same results taking ginkgo biloba for much cheaper.
I couldnt afford to stay on this long enough to tell you what it did for me except for expensive urine! lol So all I got for ya is book knowledge....
