I have had a really strange symptom for at least five years now. I have not mentioned it to my dr., but I have asked my PA about it. She has never heard of such a thing happening. When I lay down in the afternoon, I get pain in my legs, ankles, feet and lately in my arms. It is enough to make me get out of bed and then it goes away. It never happens at night, thankfully.

Has anyone experienced this?

Well, that is strange that it only happens during the day and not at night. I suppose we could come up with lots of possibilities, but finding something that is probable is another issue. When I take an afternoon nap I'm usually more comfortable than sleeping at night. But I only sleep for a 1/2 hour or less. I sleep in on my side which I never do at night because longer than 30 minutes on my side would be asking for more misery.

Hope you can come up with a reasonable answer,

Hmmm. I find that it doesn't matter when I lay down - it always is a struggle for me to 'get comfortable enough' to sleep - day or night. I'm not a happy camper about it either!!
Stretching, popping & squigling down doesn't help for me. Unfortunately, I have to rely on 'scripts & supplements in order to sleep at all for now. =(

You may need a cardio workup. Just in case. Certainly sounds like a circulatory problem. God bless.
