blushFirst of all, thanks for all your wonderful suggestions about my not-so-embarrassing-now problem -- I actually am not in so much pain right now! Still working through some of the ideas. Apparently is vulvodynia.
sadI'm a little concerned about another condition that just came up. Well, not just, but I originally thought it was a fibro flare until the swelling in my feet and ankles got so awful. I had preliminary testing done Monday for congestive heart failure. (I've had a stent for a few years now after a close call with a heart attack.) My dad developed this condition, but he was much older at the time and actually was in much better physical condition. He played golf and kept his mind active and ate well, except for a preference for more fried foods than was really in his best interest! He even played golf three days before we found him gone -- he passed away in his sleep. I also had a couple of other more distant relatives with this condition. My doctor is concerned that this, along with my increasing symptoms, and my past heart stuff, may mean that I've developed it, too. smhairI know it's fairly manageable, but I'm still sort of worried even though it's not a certainty at this point. Probably won't know till next week, and I'm not good at waiting anymore.
shockedSorry, didn't mean to rattle on! Anyway, I'd sure appreciate a good thought or two if you've got some not being used right now! Know I could be worrying for nothing, but I'm so good at doing that! tongue
Anyway, thanks for being there.............depend on you guys more than I can say.............
(((hugs)))
Luv ya

My hubby has to deal with a lot of ankle/foot swelling, although his is brought on by DVT & P.E. I am always reminding him to get his feet elevated!! Have you tried just elevating you feet more often?

Thanks for your support, guys -- knew I could count on you! I always can.............you're great!
Thanks, too, for your suggestion, Traveler -- I do elevate as much as possible, but with minimal results, and as soon as I get back up, whatever puffiness has gone away comes back within ten to fifteen minutes.....so irritating!!! I'm sorry your hubby has to deal with so much of this.
I am trying to stay positive about this -- may not even be my problem, I know -- not really so afraid of this condition, mostly dread more meds and concerned about being more limited in activities with my 11 year old.....she already deals with so darn much..............
