At least once a day I get a feeling of being very tired (drained of energy).  I feel like if I don't lie down I am going to pass out.  Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Yes, I felt like that yesterday! I had to lay down for about an hour. It just comes on out of no where. I hope you feel better soon.

I use to feel like that all the time. 24/7. I was in bed a lot. ONly got up to use the bathroom and eat. It was horrible. Finally the pdoc gave me medication to help with that. I do a lot better now. I am working a job. So far, so good. I can't complain.

Best wishes to you.

Yes!! It doesn't happen every day, but when it hits, I really must just lay down for a few minutes. This is why I just gave up a full time job.

I get that also. It really is awful. Fortunately, I have a job where I am somewhat flexible, so if it happens there, I just try to do some paperwork, drink and eat something, and wait until it passes.
I was wondering Karen which medication has helped you?

Hi Hope,

I take adderall. It helps a lot. I started by taking concerta (ritalin) and provigil. But ended up on the adderall. I have been taking it for a few years now and it is a Godsend.

I hope that you can find something that will work for you.

Hugs, Karen

Sometimes I feel as if I am hitting a wall. Exercise gives me more energy though. When I feel as tired as you seem to be, I just go to bed. I hate being in bed in the daytime though.

I've been feeling like that lately. Just walking from the parking lot into the office is an ordeal. When I finally get to my desk, my body is almost shaking from fatigue and I sort of fall into the chair. I have to stay still for a long time before I get the energy to turn on my computer. It's getting worse each day.

Thank you so much for the replies. It is nice to know that I am not alone in what I am feeling.
