I was just diagnosed a month ago and have done alot of research since.  I've found some really great vitamins that work EXCELLENT for me.  I don't know if maybe I have a mild case of fibro or if they really work but here is what I use:
For sleepless nights:  melatonin
For tingling legs:  calcium/magnesium/zinc combo in one pill - twice per day
For general well being:  cod liver oil caps - twice per day
I apologize if that has already been suggested as I just joined in here and haven't checked out the other posts.
I had two very bad days in a row last month where I felt really tired, achey all over and just felt like crud.  Since I've been taking the above supplements, I feel 95% better with my symptoms mostly gone.  redface    The leg tingling was really bad at night and driving me crazy!
I hope this might be helpful to some of you.

Hi Tam,

Welcome to the fibromyalgia forum. And thank you for the information. Have you heard about the malic acid supplements? It has helped a lot of people on the forum. INcluding me. There is a thread about it on fibro101. What I take has magnesium in it. The magnesium is good for your muscles too.

Keep posting, there is a wonderful group of members here. And we all understand what you go through with fibro.

I hope that you are having a wonderful day. And I am happy to know that the supplements are working for you.

Hugs, Karen
PS I have too been taking melatonin for sleep.  So far it is working well...

Tamalama, don't forget about the Vitimin-D to. I have to ask How much Melatonin are you taking at night? I know they are 3mg a piece. I on occation I take 2 Melatonin.

How long have you been dealing with your pains (Fibro)? Mine just got a little worse this past week or so might be two weeks.  I am so glad my Rheumotologist listened to what I had to say and gave me some nice muscle relaxers (Robaxin). Yea! Someone you actually listens to me. yeah
