Well its the 4th again and it seems Im the only one here, its 7:30 here in Oregon and Im trying to keep my mind besy took my night pills and there not working, nothing on TV I have no emails, worked on my boat ran into a snag so had to stop to think about it. Havent prayed yet today need to do that befor I go to sleep, thats if I sleep, didnt drink any coffee after 3pm watered the lawn eat dinner, now I hear bangs outside,, gee its the 4th. I do wish everyone a happy 4th I hope people dont drink and drive but so many do, I will pray for them too.
Im going to go to church tomorrow and try to set there the whole hour, some times I cant my hips get real stiff and they start to hurt along with my arms so most of the time I have to get up and walk around then I end up going home anyway, But I know God Knows me and he knows my heart is in church.
Hmmm, I wonder what everyone is doing, I bet there haveing great fire work on the east coast, I wish I was there. Maybe some day I will get to see the east, I play the lottery in hops to win and move to the east coast. Well I cant set here anymore all kinds of places are starting to hurt, Good night every one and God bless

Ed, I'm like you about sleeping lately.  I just can't seem to sleep at all.  Friday night I didn't go to sleep at all until about 5:00 Saturday morning and I didn't take a nap at all Saturday.  Here I am again tonight just wide awake as can be.

I quit drinking iced tea about 3:00 today because I was advised that might be what was keeping me awake.  I haven't taken my Flexeril since I have been on summer vacation from  school.  So tonight I even took one of them and I still can't sleep.  I don't know what's keeping me awake again tonight.

I too, always get up on Sunday morning and go to church.  My husband is a minister and is pastor of a little country church.

I hope I don't fall asleep during his sermon.  Hope your getting some rest tonight.

God Bless!
Shannon

Hi guys...we should start a night time party in here...lol Or just go sit in the fibro chat room and see who else can't sleep and comes on in. I've been having trouble the past couple of nights too so we're in this together.

Ed, I sort of understand the loneliness. Even though I do have hubby and a couple of people came over for a while today, none of my kids or family were here as they always are. My heart was so lonesome it felt like it was breaking. But I didn't want to lay it on anyone else who was here and I know tomorrow I have things to do and will get past it.

I pray you have a peaceful and restful night and that you will be able to make it through church tomorrow without the normal pain. One thing to remember...you are family in this forum and we love and care about you! And even though we can't all physically be together we are with you in spirit. So when you are sad or lonesome reach out your hand and take mine (extending hand) or the hand of another fibro family member and you will feel us beside you. It works if you believe...at least for me it does.

Hugs,
Chutzie

If you ask what is the single most important key to longevity, I would have to say it is avoiding worry, stress and tension. And if you didn't ask me, I'd still have to say it.

I was up last night. I grew up in NYC and I miss the firework displays. When I was a child and visited my dad in DC I enjoyed those fireworks also. I did not want to be out by myself last night looking for a good spot to view the events in Seattle so I stayed home.

Maybe next year I will go to NYC to see them again. I wonder if I can take the crowds?
