Hi all. I am in a bad spot tonight. For the past week, I have been having a lot of cramps, though they weren't severe, and nausea and a lot of dizziness. The past two days, I have been feeling a lot more tired than usual. Tonight, the nausea is pretty intense at times, though I have not actually vomitted, and the cramps are severe, and they are in my pelvis and go all the way around into my lower back. I am worried that I have an ectopic pregnancy. I am on the depo shot, and almost all pregnancies (though pregnancy is rare) turn out as ectopic pregnancies. I have almost all the symptoms of one. I am really concerned. I may go to the ER tonight, though I haven't decided yet. If I don't go, then, tomorrow, I am going to Birthright to have a pregnancy test done. If it comes back negative, I am going to call my doctor and talk with him about what is going on. I am just really concerned. It seems I have the worst luck when it comes to my health, so I feel like this could really be happening. It is just my luck that it would. I could really use some support and maybe some advice.

You get strong.
Wipe your hands
shake it off.
Then you stand.

OK ....  I'll get out of my comfort zone since I have an opinion.

Sorry to hear you are having these symptoms.  It must be scary.

I don't want to be alarming but the only one of these I've seen turned into a medical emergency due to internal bleeding.  I'm concerned about your being OK overnight.  I know you don't want a trip to the ER.  Maybe better to be safe though.

You have me worried and I'll be thinking about you.  Is there anyone who can take you to the ER?

I have to second Rich on this one, Sassy. PLEASE get yourself some medical attention ASAP! It may turn out to be nothing, but if it is an ectopic pregnancy that is nothing to mess around with.

Let us know how you're doing when you can, ok? I will be praying for you tonight and hoping everything is OK.

Definitely find your way to the ER. I hope it is something other than an ectopic pregnancy.

An ectopic pregnancy is nothing to mess around with. My friend knew she was pregnant and started having pain. She almost died that night when it ruptured and she started hemorrhaging.

Well, I ended up going to the ER about one o'clock this morning. They tested my urine, which showed that I was dehydrated. They tested my blood, which came back normal. They took some vaginal swabs, which I won't get the results back for another few days, and he also felt around to make sure it really was my female organs that were the problem. He told me to have an ultrasound done because he suspected one or more cysts. So, I have a doctor's appointment for Wednesday. I didn't get home until a little after 3:30, and didn't get to bed until 4. I only got 3 and 1/2 hours of sleep, so I am pretty worn out right now. I think my son is napping, though, so I am going to lie down on the couch and sleep for a little while. That is what is going on right now. Thank you all for caring about me. It means a lot to me.

I agree with the others! A friend of mine lost one of her ovaries and nearly died from an ectopic pregnancy. As annoying as it is to go to the ER, I strongly urge you to go right now.

Take care and let us know how everything turns out.

I was just wondering how it was going and if your symptoms are improving?
