I saw the dentist after work today. I wrote down all about my teeth and the pain I've been having on the left top and bottom side of my mouth, and all the jaw pain, and they did a check....no infections, no cavities, just irritated. I was SO relieved!! The one lady said it probably had something to do with the toothbrush I had just bought, seeing as how it was a medium toothbrush, which she said should be outlawed cuz they can irritate the teeth and gums.
She gave me a new, softer brush and 2 little things of Sensodyne to try. All my pain started about 1 week ago today and I've been stressing out over what was wrong. Like I said, I was so relieved that they said it's just irritated and that I probably jammed the area with my brush or something. On the paper of my information I wrote out, I mentioned the possibility of fibromyalgia, and the one lady says she has it and that it takes a while to diagnose cuz you have to keep going back to the doctor and complaining. The good news is that, alothough I have no health/dental insurance, I am going to a health clinic on the 31st of this month to see what's causing me all this pain. I feel grateful that there's nothing wrong with my teeth and that I can go to the health clinic 22 miles away.
