I long for you, but you are far away.
Not here at night, but plaguing me by day.
You flit in and out like the pixie that you are.
Leaving me tired and foggy, and so far
I haven't found a way to capture you
To find the rest I count as my due.
You stay away, and yet I won't concede
Defeat because it's truly you I need.
I'll try and try again to find a way
To sleep from night unto next day.

Written upon waking for the 3rd time since going to bed.
