I am driven to tell this story because the hubby laughed at me when I made coffee with no coffee beans again this morning.
Last week, a friend asked him to come over and help him put a patch on the liner at the deep end of his pool.  I see all this scuba gear on the floor...EVERYTHING except the oxygen tank.  I chuckled to myself thinking this was truly overkill for a tiny little patch, but off he went.  Later that afternoon, he comes home all hunched over and dropped immediately on the couch in pain.  He moaned all night.  It seems these two geniuses had tied sacks of bricks around their necks to sink to the bottom. do you come up for air with all this weight holding you down??  You don' almost drown until the other mensa member pulls the bag of bricks off so you can get to the top.  Then, after you get the patch in place, you swim around for an hour in thunder and lightening dressed like you are diving for gold off the Gulf of Mexico.
He better never make fun of my foggy moments again.  Never ever.

Next time you forget something or do something goofy (which I'm sure is most of the time), and your hubby laughs at you, just say, "Bricks".  He'll get the message!  devil

Oh Lordy! I can envision a yellow sign posted by the pool... Caution, Geniuses? at Work

And next time he goes off to help one of his buddies, ask him to wait a couple of minutes until you check to see if his life insurance policy is paid up.
