Hey all,

Been a while since I've been on here.  While I was m.i.a. I was having a diffucult time dealing with my pain levels.  Work has been reeallly busy.  My facial pain (TN) was driving me nuts, but I found that Perocet worked well to calm it way down.  But, it is very hard for me to work and concentrate while taking even the smallest dose of it.  But oh how just getting a big relief from all this pain 'activity' was nice.  Ultracet doesn't seem to touch that pain but takes the edge off of my FM symptoms and doesn't make me 'wacky'.  Aaaaaah, I am a little frustrated with all that, I don't really want to take pain meds on a daily basis, but I guess I'll have to, at least for a while.  I have literally cried about this and the fact I have had to up my dosage of Gabapentin as well to help with the TN.

I just wanted to share, I'm feeling a little alone. sad   I need some hugs......

One good thing though, last weekend my dh and brother hooked up a A.C. unit in my bedroom window. :-)    I live less than 2 miles from the ocean but trust me it will come in handy in the next couple of months.

(((((Lori)))))  Hopefully this flare will settle down soon.  Summer, for some reason, is the worst time of year for me.  I have to take more meds but then I can back off them once the heat, humidity, and rain subside.  I hope this happens for you, too.  Feel better!

Uff da!
Hara, I started at 7:30 this a.m and I still haven't had a break, other than to go potty. I am exhausted! Its 3:00 now, 2 more hours and I should be home. What kind of work are you doing?

Thanx for the hugs y'all. :-)

I do medical receptionist work so I'm up and down, up and down. OMG! A little 5 year old girl said to her mom today in our office. "mommy that lady doesn't look like she feels good." When I'm in pain I show everything, of course I though I was hiding it pretty good,... guess NOT! *throws hands up in dispare*

Hey Lori,
I hope this calms down for you soon. Today in training I had a migraine and kept thinking, "I can do this . . . I can do this." Then on the way home, anticipating going to bed, hubby calls and reminds me we are having friends over for a little birthday celebration! Aack!

Can you take even a teeny tiny little break during your busy time? It will help you feel better and probably even increase your productivity a little. Did you say what you are doing at work?
