Hi Everyone,
I have not posted for a while but have been reading and getting so much info from this forum, thank you. Went back to the doctors last thursday, finally my appts are 2 weeks apart. With no insurance this is getting really hard! I was on ambien for sleep and I wanted to try something natural that was not addicting. She had me take melatonin and it works! Knocks me out. The only other natural sleep aid that helped in the past was SleepMD but that was about $20 a month. The melatonin was $6 for 60 tabs! Just wanted to pass on something that is working for me.

I read the savella posts and my doctor wanted to try me on that since she has samples. I am so sensitive to meds that the side effects make me even more nervous. I have lots of anxiety and am taking buspar that seems to help alot. Thanks to the posts out here on the savella, I think I will just stick with what I have now. I am really getting tired of trying all these meds.

Thanks again for all the help!

Hi Robin, we have the same name!

Glad that you found something that works for you and it is so inexpensive

I am one who does take savella with no side effects. Been on it only a month and
still waiting for it to kick in. My rheumy gave me samples for a month. I do have
insurance and it cost me $45.00 out of pocket. The retail price for one month is $124.99
My dosage is 50mg 2x daily.

Good luck to you

Smiling2day, I tried the Meletonin to. It worked at first but then it stopped for some reason. But I have been putting some herbs like: Clove, CatNip, and Chamomile. I try and get them into a find enough powder and put them in an empty capsol. I love it it's the best thing that has happened for my sleep so far.
