I woke up and I am flaring again! I just ended a two week flare last Saturday.
Wish I knew what was going on with this crazy body of mine.

My arms are burning and I feel like I have ice water going through my veins.
All my joints and muscles ache. I think I might have a Flare duo going on,
Fibro flare and an autoimmune flare from my Connective Tissue Disease.

OK, I am done with my whine, I think I'll have some cheese and a muscle relaxer
   and go back to bed!

I'm just got up with major pain in my neck and shoulders.  I'm eating crackers, drinking a 7UP and getting ready to soak in the tub with really hot water.  I hope you feel better in the morning Robin.

Good Morning Chiyo, thank you for the nice reply

I generally feel pain on a daily basis. This is going to sound crazy but that daily pain
is something I have built up a tolerance to. It is like my new normal. It is tolerable.

When I am fibro flaring my muscles are really SCREAMING at me. When I have a CTD
Flare my muscles, joints are aching terribly and my neck and chest area will usually
develop subcutaneous lesions; that is the lupus part of Mixed Connective Tissue
Disease. Today I am super flaring I woke up with lesions so I have a duo going on.

Thankfully flares don't last forever and hopefully this will be a short one.

Take Care

Oh, Robin, I'm so sorry.  I'm in one big flare all summer long!  The heat and rains do it to me every year.  I start to calm down around October and then I'm good in the winter, but I live in Florida.  If I was up north, Owie!

Chiyo, we all have daily pain and, as Robin said, we become accustomed to the "regular" pain.  But, when you have a flare, you will know it!  You hurt more, are more fatigued because of the pain, etc.  Flares can last as short as a day or as long as months...like I have in the summer.  Weather plays a big part in my flares.

I hope both of you start feeling better soon!  Grab the Bed Buddy, too, while you are at it!  LOL

Thanks Sherrine. I have learned that flares have a mind of ther own even when i think
I am doing everything I can to prevent them. Now if I could just learn how to control
the weather.       Thank you to you too, danib :)

Hope all of us will be flare free soon.
