How well are you doing in getting that protein in?

Did you know almonds have lots of protein. Try eating a handful. I have also found chocolate almond milk very tasty. You find it in the store where the soy milk is that is not refrigerated.

I have definately been drinking more milk. I snack on string cheese. This afternoon
I had a strawberry smoothie made with yogurt. I think I lost a couple pounds without
trying.

I am on a low carb diet to lose weight. All I'm doing is limiting my carbs the way I was when I had gestational diabetes, and making sure I have some protein with every snack and meal. Tuna is a great protein, have an open face tuna melt for lunch, or sprinkle on a salad. One of my favourite snacks is cottage cheese with fruit. GREAT source of protein, and relatively low in fat if you get the 1%. I actually like it better than the full fat version. A handful of nuts with a pear is another delicious snack.

Good morning all....

tongue  I have been searching the web to see what foods have more protein in them.. I was surprissed , Cottage Cheese , never thought of this as a protien food but it is. LOL.. Silly me..
I have made sure to eat my meat at dinner, cutting back on carbs also... or trying at least.

I cut way back on the amount of fruit this week.. as last week I gained two pounds , has to be the fruit and all that sugar.

I'll check in again later..... lets keep going , and giving idea's on protien foods ok.. smilewinkgrin

Soft huggles.

I'm trying to eat more protein but I haven't seen any difference in the way I feel. I have had fish for dinner the past two nights.

luv and hugs
