I know Fibro patients talk about having painful trigger points ,I have these painful little bumps that feel like they are fluid filled and can be felt really good right on the hip bone and near the spine,Im sure I have them elsewhere but deeper in the muscle! Is this something others have?? I dont know how to explain it except like a little painful cyst that kinda moves around when its touched,My massage therapist said she didnt have other patients with this,I always assumed it was Fibromyalgia lumps, Any thoughts??

This could possibly be myofascial pain syndrome.  There is a link about it in the Fibro 101 thread.  I have that and it's like I have marbles under my skin in certain areas.  I'm fortunate that my massage therapist knows about this and helps work them out.

I'm a knotting woman. I have MPS big time and there are very few places on my body I don't have knots in the muscles. I was getting regular massages but haven't all summer. It does help some but if they work on too many at a time it makes me sick from the toxins released. Mine started in my shoulders and back but now have gone down my arms, legs and hips. If it is MPS I'm surprised the massage therapist didn't recognize them.

luv and hugs

My lyme doctor felt the painful little nodules and said it was Fibromyositis,I looked it up and all it says is inflamation of the muscle with a build up of connective tissue! He said its like scar tissue that sits right on top of the nerve endings,so now I know why its so painful! It used to be the name for Fibromyalgia untill they found out that has no inflammation and Fibromyositis does! Just in case anyone has the same problem! Unfortunately all he did was try Savella I already take Lyrica at night! Of course he said after we kill the lyme the fibro should get better but I know alot on here dont believe the Lyme theory and that O.k,Im just trying to find relief and help others out if I can!

I have them too. They are mostly where the muscles are getting close to the joints. some of them hurt and some of them dont. But I have many. I just figured it was a part of fibro.

Best wishes to you.
