I've been having a bad 3 weeks. Vomiting, nausea, dehydration, constipation, with explosive diarrhea. I'm not sleeping, and have this irritating rash all over my limbs. I hate the rash, b/c it's hot and I have to cover up. Exhausted, can't go to sleep even with all the best sleeping meds'. Going to Dr's appt's., ER, and Urgent Care like I live there and I'm supporting the up keep of the facility and giving the Dr's more $. Fatigued, not being able to use the stairs, my under eyes are dark. Everyone thinks I look ill, I look like washed out. Lots of people that see me tell me to go to Urgent Care. People and parents asked if they can take me to the ER. I’m like I go there all the time like twice a week. Massive migraines even with the meds, stomach cramping, my body is hurting so much I can't even be touched, begging God to take it away. cry

I'm so sorry to hear you are so sick. Have you recently change your meds or your diet? It sounds like something must be causing this severe reaction. I have had some of these symptoms from FM, but it sounds like your case is extreme. I will keep you in my prayers. Please be sure to drink plenty of water and get lots of rest, even if you can't sleep at least lay down and rest as much as possible. Please keep us posted on your condition. Hope you feel better soon. {{{hug}}}

I am so sorry you are having such a hard time of it... I truly do understand....
as our other poster  asked :: have you changed any of your meds ?

The reason I ask is I am trying to come off lyrica and are having a lot of the same issues.
lots of Gerd issues .  nausea, dehydration, constipation, with explosive diarrhea.
lots of pain.. seems I have been in a flare almost all Summer. there are lots of days even my pain Meds dont seem to work. can't sleep ... up and down all night. last week I had to have my Dear Dad come drive me to my Doc's I was in such bad shape I could not even dirve around the corner from my house to see my doc.

you said you went to urgent care .. what did they say or do if you don;t mind my asking ? I have many times thought about going to the emergency room... but then thought what would they do... give me a shot of some good pain meds and send me home.. it cost me $100.00 for the vist .. like my husband said is it worth the cost for a few hours of not so much pain... so I wonder.. if you don't mind sharing. I alwasy fear they will say nothing they can do for me.

the dark around the eyes I also have.. feels like I have been hit and looks like it too... last time I tried to whear make up . my husband looked at me and said .. Oh honey ... don;t it makes your dark around your eyes much worse. ..so no more make up .

Please keep us posted on your condition... I will kep you in my paryers....

I have been working on a poam.. you might relate to ... its not done yet but starts out like this..

She wakes in the night and lets out a cry
did not intend to , but it came right out.
Oh lord help me she cries
her body all twisted , burning and throbbing in pain
yet again tonight she says
she quietly sneaks from the bed room in the night
not wanting to wake her husband sleeping at her side
limping and crying she struggles from the room
grasping the stair banister with both hands
she struggles down to the living room

I have more to add..... I'll share once I have it done...

Take care my dear. I send you lots of Soft huggles.

littlestrebel, I am so sorry for your pain and suffering. You sound totally exhausted.

Have you gotten any answers to why the rash? Migraines are debilitating and it is next to
impossible to sleep when you are suffering from intense pain. I suffered from migraines
for years and my last severe migraine, I went to the ER and they gave me two hypos
of demerol 30 minutes apart and it still did not touch the pain. What did help was a
opiod spray, they sprayed up my nose. I do not remember the name of the med.
That happened 3 years ago and I haven't had a really intense migraine since.

I hope you can get some pain relief soon and much needed rest. Please call your doctor
if you are not finding any relief.

Let us know how you are doing. Prayers are on the way

Robin

I went to Urgent Care again on Thurs. The Doc. gave me a shot for the migraine. I could not see. I've been wearing sun glasses. The Doc. was worried about the migraine lasting too long. Wonder how I got to the hospital on my own. Bed rest and sunglasses for 5 days recommended.

For sleep the Doc. told me to use 2 tabs of Trazadone.

For the rash; betametasone valerate. Not to be used on the face, b/c it's strong. I've been using it for yrs. Have to be covered up with pants and long sleeve shirts.

Suppositories and more fiber in the diet is needed.

New drugs zanaflex and topomax. I fell asleep in the car on zanaflex and almost got dehydration in the closed car. I was dripping sweat. My husband found me. Yesterday I fell asleep sitting up and over stepped the tea. My husband panicked. I heard him talking, then woke up. I was on the zanaflex, but it took 3hrs to kick in.

HI!  It seems like you have several different things going on at the same time.  Do the doctors think this is being caused by one thing?  Maybe it's a bacteria or something like that that they can get rid of.  Have you been checked for Crohn's disease?  I have Crohn's and it can cause constipation and it can cause diarrhea, along with cramping, extreme fatigue, dehydration because of the diarrhea, skin rashes, to name a few.  I know I was terribly sick with it.

While this is going on, and until you get a diagnosis, be sure to eat things with potassium in them...like potatoes, tea, etc.  Gatorade is great for that too.  It might help you feel a little better.  My doctor has me taking folic acid to help with absorption problems, too.   Let us know what you find out.  It's horrible being that ill.
