We all have days when we are hurting and in pain. I've had my share of days crying too.
When the days turn into weeks, we must find a way to help ourselves. I have spent a
year reading the posts on this forum and the Lupus forum. I gained a lot of strength
from reading these posts. In July I decided I would become a member and try to help
others as you have helped me. Being on this forum, I felt comfort hearing about your
experiances. I felt that I was not alone.  I am sorry if anyone does feel I am not
empathetic to their pain. I hurt too!   Our pain is real ! Everyone needs time to mourn
the loss of their good health, but at some point we must begin to help ourselves.
I have learned so much from you about easing pain and deaing with stress, and I
want to thank you. I will continue to reading your posts.

turn turn turn turn turn    turn

Today I choose to laugh awhile, to be content and share my smile.

To spend each day playing the crying game, is a waste of time and a crying shame

Life is too short and precious is time, to spend each day to sit and whine.

Crazykitty, I have seen much compassion from you. I hope you stay with us. We all have to push thru our illnesses or sometimes they will just overwhelm you. I have multiple issues myself along with Fibro, so I understand what you are saying. My saying to get me thru those bad days is "One day at a time". Sometimes on those bad days its one minute at a time:)

We are all hurting and are all in this world together.  This forum is wonderful because we can all try to help one another.  I know I learn things nearly every day.  We learn compassion and caring and all of this makes our lives better and, actually, helps with the pain.  And we sure get some great ideas to help us along so we feel better and continue to enjoy our lives. I was so happy when I happened to stumble upon HealingWell.

Robin, I certainly hope you will do more than just reading posts.  You have given some wonderful help and things to really think about.  So, keep on keeping on!  We love hearing from you.

Thank you, Spirit there are so many caring people on this forum. We all hurt, we all cry,
we all are human. Having faith that things will get better gives us the power to endure. I
hope to get to know you better too.

You are so kind Robin and I love your little poem. turn When I joined this forum two years ago last month all I knew about fibro was the negative medical info I had researched and I was not happy, hadn't begun to accept fibro plus was mourning a great loss. My body is in a lot worse shape now than it was two years ago but you know what I'm happier and I owe it all to this great forum and the people that care so much about each other. The main thing I have learned is it is all up to me every morning no matter how I feel whether I want to be happy or sad about this. Yes, I get frustrated with my body and overwhelmed when I don't have the energy I need, fatigue is my biggest problem most days, but it is what it is and I accept that.

luv and hugs

Robin...I have always tried to come on this forum and use whatever humor I have left in my fibro fog brain  to give someone a laugh.  I am sure there are many who think I am nuts.  But...if I didn't laugh I would cry.  The day I started the As The Fibro Burns post I was in tears from the gnawing pains in my hip and leg.  If just one person forgot their pain for the minute it took them to read the post, it was worth it.  I love your poetry and postive attitude.  Keep it up.  This forum has offered me an outlet and distraction that I treasure.

many huggies

I really enjoy everyone's posts. Everyone brings something interesting and unique to the world, and to this forum. It has made me realize that there are all kinds of pain - physical, spiritual, emotional, and this forum has really helped me think about fibro in new ways, and tune in to what may really be making me hurt. Thank you all.

I really enjoy reading everyones post too. We are all unique and there are all
differant kinds of pain. Dealing with our daily challenges is difficult, we suffer with
emotional pain because of the increased coping we have to do to live with our illness.
We suffer from the physical pain that is sometimes unrelenting. I have learned so many
things from this forum including be true to yourself !

Robin,

I, for one, LOVE your positive posts!! They really help me, as do others' positive posts. It is what helps me make it through when I'm feeling down and in a lot of pain. :)

Thank you.
