about 6 months ago, I felt like my bite had changed. My teeth were hitting each other in new places.
Then about 6 weeks ago, I started waking up in the morning, and my jaw would catch at first, then clear up during the day.
Then, last week, it started catching all the time, and my forehead and part of my face feels like its cramping.
I've called the dentist's office to ask questions and was told that the dentist could fit me with a "bite plane", which would retrain my jaw to close properly.
Is the dentist the person I want to see? He's a really great dentist, but I want to see the right kind of doctor/dentist first.
My other challenge is that I wear a nasal cpap mask and headgear and also tape my mouth to stop leaks, and I'm wondering if that has changed my jaw/teeth in some way.
Anyhow........any suggestions/input about who I should see, and what the problem might be?
I was suprised how quickly this seemed to happen.
