Well, once again, my husband has let the kitchen go to heck and back. He's been telling me for quite some time now not to worry about the kitchen because he would do it. And has he done it? Of course not!! I had to practically nag him to take the trash out as he was going back to work after his lunch break. So, once again, I have to clean the kitchen because he lets it get so bad that I have no choice but to clean it. It drives me crazy. I try to keep everything else in this house clean. I know he gets tired from working, but he agreed that he would keep the kitchen clean. GRRR! I am just going to have to add it to everything else that I have to do. I wouldn't mind it if I wasn't in so much pain and so tired. I love to clean, honestly. It gives me something to do when I am bored, but it just is a lot harder now than it was four years ago. I just always feel so drained after cleaning the kitchen after getting fed up with my hubby not doing it like he says he is going to. He lets is get so out of control and then he complains about it. I'm sorry. I just really need to vent and rant about this. I have only gotten one load of dishes done so far and I feel like I have run a marathon. Any kind words or advice would be really welcome. Thanks for letting me rant.

I'm right there with you!! I used to enjoy cleaning house. I was known in the family as having a spotless home all the time! Now, I'm lucky to do half as much as I did before.

We sold our home last year and bought a double wide mobile home. Everyone was really surprised, but after 20 yrs. and having our children grown and gone, our old house was just too big and too much. I also couldn't keep up with it anymore because of my health problems.

It is wonderful not to worry about taxes, high utility bills, and keeping up with everything. Moving has made both of our lives so much easier and we love it! But, I still have problems keeping up like I should. I just don't have the energy to get it done!! On top of that, my hubby, most of the time thinks there is nothing wrong with me, but my head. Oh, that makes me so angry!

Anyway, wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I've come a long way in the last few years. It used to bother me if my home was not perfectly clean. Now I do what I can, when I can, & I try not to worry about it too much. If your hubby complains then I would tell him to do what he said he would do & keep it clean.

Only you know how much your body will take. Do what you can & stop worrying about the rest. It will still be there for you when you feel you can get to it. Maybe your husband will start helping you out more! Hope things get better for you & hang in there because I find that when I worry about something like that, it just makes me feel worse.

Haha yeah .. I have to ask at least 3 times before he will do anything. I'm letting myself believe that he just forgets and isn't doing it on purpose.
