I might be going on a mini-vacay of my own this weekend, so if anyone else has a good Koffee Klatch idea plz post!

What is your favourite appetizer?

I have a few:

As far as pre-made items go, Nancy's Petit Quiche are made of awesome. I usually have them for breakfast. I also like Morningstar's vegetarian cheese and veggie bites.

For my high school graduation party, my mom and I set up a buffet with nothing but appetizers. We made penguins out of olives and carrots, and set them marching in a line all over the trays. We also wrapped slices of bacon around hard breadsticks and baked them to cook the bacon.

My favorite appetizer is spinach artichoke dip ... YUM! I have found the place that has the best is the winking lizard -I think this is an Ohio resturant.
Pain is temporary.  It might last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year but eventually it subsides and something else will take its place.  If I quit, however, it lasts forever.

Ummm, I usually go for the mozzerella sticks - deep fried cheese - mmmmmmm!

Maybe we can just "rerun" some of Chutz's old editions??

(You've been doing a great job WCC.  Thanks for stepping up!)

Donna ... I love cheese too! I like A&W cheese curds much better than Mozarella Sticks though.

Running some Klassik Klatches would be a good idea ... we've gotten a lot of new ppl recently, so it's not like they would be bored.

Late to the party so I hope there are still appetizers left for me! I LOVE, love, love appetizers. I love making beautiful little Martha Stewart Living type appetizers like bite-size pork tenderloin wrapped around figs and apricots; I love pigs in a blanket; I love it all! But it all started when my folks used to take us out to the one Chinese restaurant in town, for treat night. That's when I discovered the flaming pu-pu platter! A huge spinning plate with a propane flame in the center, surrounded by yakitori beef sticks and seared pineapple sticks; portions of dumpling, egg roll, pork, the incredibly delectable shrimp chips, fried shrimp, fried wontons, little barbecued spareribs, and my favorite fried chicken wings. <sigh>
