I know a while back we had a discussion about sports bras.  I just read in the paper about a Ca. doctor who invented a better sports bra.  She is the founder of a Breast Health Center and has heard all the complaints about bras.  I went on line and looked at the bra and it does look comfortable with padded straps(which is something I really need).  I wondered if any of you have tried one of these.  I hope it is ok to post the brand name here.  I do not have any connection with this doctor and I do not profit in anyway from this product.   She has created a company and is donating 10% of profits to charities that support the early detection of breast cancer through education and research.  The bra is called Dr. Marla's Wellness Bra and is being sold through J.C. Penney.  I really think I am going to try to go to Penney's and try this bra on.  There is a video on line which shows the unique construction of the bra.

I haven't heard of that specific bra, but I'm "gifted" in the chest area, and I get my sports bras from Title9 or FootSmart.

I would love a good sports bra but the best are expensive. I'd need at least three due to my work out schedule and lack of laundry facilities in my apartment.

I've been wearing two at the same time. I bought a bunch of inexpensive ones from Wal-Mart, they were 3/$10 so, basically, I got 12 for the price of one good one.

Someday, when I am magically wealthy, I would love to buy some really good sports bras.

Oh that's not a bad price at all! I'm afraid I'm a little more "gifted" than Dr. Marla anticipated, and it doesn't come in a size for me, but it looks great - I'd try it in a heartbeat if it went a bit further down the alphabet!

Well I went to J C Penney's yesterday to look at the bra.  They don't have it in the stores.  You have to order on line.  I'm going to decide today if I want to order one.  It does look comfortable in the video.

I use sports bras all the time. My last job was at a plastics factory and was very physical with the bending and
twisting. The job I'm at now it's bending, lifting, twisting and HOT. They move with you and work better in
the heat than a regular bra. Plus if you can find nifty ones they're good for mowing the lawn in.

You ladies rock! I was just looking to replace my sports bras but most of them out there kind of suck if you are as you say "gifted" and I am! Thank you so much! The right bra can make the pain so much less. Thanks again ladies!
Thanks!
